Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.<\/span><\/strong> Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God: Praying always with all prayer and supplication<\/strong> in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; <\/em>(Eph 6:10-18)<\/em><\/p>\n

Just as Heaven is real, but we don’t see it with our eyes right now – in the same way, there is so much going on in the spirit realm all around us!\u00a0 We are in the midst of a war – unseen though it may be.\u00a0 We are under attack.\u00a0 We must always act in love toward all people, but we must begin to put on the whole armor of God daily and pray – standing in the gap for our children, our family, friends, towns, cities, counties, states and nations.\u00a0 We must seek God’s face and seek to live righteously in His eyes, asking for His mercy.<\/p>\n

If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2Ch 7:14)<\/em><\/p>\n

I encourage you to consider joining with others who are praying such as:\u00a0 Texas Apostolic Prayer Network<\/span><\/a><\/strong><\/span> and Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network<\/strong><\/span>.<\/a><\/p>\n

Here is a prayer I am going to pray, based on Daniel’s prayer for Israel and Jerusalem in Daniel 9:3-19.\u00a0 Won’t you join me?<\/p>\n

“I set my face unto You, oh Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fastings.\u00a0 Oh Lord, the great and dreadful God, keeping the covenant and mercy to them that love You, and to them that keep Your commandments, we have sinned, and we have committed iniquity, and we have done wickedly, and we have rebelled, even by departing from Your precepts and Your judgments.\u00a0 We have not listened toYour servants, which have spoken in Your name to our government officials and to all of us.\u00a0 Oh Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but we are embarrassed before You because of our trespasses that we have trespassed against You, Oh Lord. \u00a0 We are shamed before You, Oh Lord, because we have sinned against You.\u00a0 Oh Lord our God, to You belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against You and not obeyed Your voice, to walk in Your ways, which You set before us by Your servants the prophets.\u00a0 Yes, Lord, we have all transgressed Your law, by not obeying Your voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, because we have sinned against You. \u00a0 You have confirmed Your Word by bringing upon us all this evil,\u00a0 yet we have not made our prayer before You, our LORD and our God, that we might turn from our iniquities, and understand Your Truth.\u00a0 You are righteous, oh LORD our God in all Your works which You do,\u00a0 for we have not obeyed Your voice.\u00a0 And now, O Lord our God, that brought our fathers into this good land with many mighty miracles, formerly published abroad, we confess that we have sinned, and we have done wickedly.\u00a0 Oh Lord, according to all Your righteousness, I beseech You, let Your anger and Your fury be turned away from our people, our towns, cities, counties, states and nations.\u00a0 Now therefore, Oh Lord our God, hear our prayers, and our supplications, and cause Your face to shine again upon our land, now dry and desolate.\u00a0 Oh my God, incline Your ear, and hear; open Your eyes, and see our desolations, and the land You once blessed.\u00a0 We do not present our supplications before You because we are righteous, but because Your mercy is great.\u00a0 Oh Lord, hear our prayers!\u00a0 Oh Lord, forgive us!\u00a0 Oh Lord, please help us to turn from our wicked ways and seek Your face that You may have mercy on us and heal our land!\u00a0 Please make us a lighthouse to the world again!”<\/strong><\/p>\n

May God bless you and protect you as you stand in the gap for your children, family, friends, towns, cities, counties, states and nations.<\/p>\n
